Why celebrancy?

As you know, Love You Lots Celebrancy is a new venture for me and whilst I am currently a teacher, I simply cannot wait to get stuck into my new career. I've organised my Instagram, sorted a Facebook page and now we have the website too. I'm planning on running some local adverts closer to the summer but -right now- I have sorted out some shiny sparkly business cards.

I've been handing out these nuggets of joy at work to anyone who will spare me a minute and the reactions I've received vary from amazement, moving into happiness all the way through to a mild grimace! Most people are telling me that they can 'absolutely see' me doing this and doing really well, but the reactions that make me smile are the grimaces!

Some folk suggest it might be a strange way to earn a living: so sad and emotionally difficult and while I don't disagree entirely, there is an element of my personality that thinks 'well, that's precisely why I want to support' my clients.

Most of my working life has been founded in the pastoral care of teenagers and it has been incredibly rewarding, but I want to support my community in other ways too.

Supporting you, with your life events is the best possible decision that I could make. It means that you and I have the potential to share joy over and over again, but I can also be there for you in moments when you can feel quite alone: to be able to provide clarity and answers in times of difficulty.

So, while it may seem a little premature to be working so hard on Love You Lots Celebrancy whilst still working full time in education, it's simply because I am really looking forward to meeting you and getting to know your loved ones. I want to give you the chance to get to get to know my work and my motivations.
